Change Healthcare Data Breach: In February 2024, Change Healthcare was the target of what the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services called a cyberattack of “unprecedented magnitude.” Change Healthcare provides services to thousands of health care providers and health plans, including LifeWise Student Insurance. Change Healthcare recently notified LifeWise Student Insurance that a small percentage of its members were affected by the breach.
